Tim Hortons Cookies Menu: Prices, Calories and Flavours
Tim Hortons cookies are one of the easiest sweet add ons at Tims, baked fresh in the restaurant every day and priced for a quick treat. The menu runs from classics like the Chocolate Chunk and Oreo Chunk to richer Dream Cookies, a Chocolate Chunk Brookie, shareable boxes and the yearly Smile Cookie.
In this guide I cover every cookie on the Canadian menu with prices and calories, the full nutrition for each flavour, the cookie boxes, the Smile Cookie campaigns, nut and allergy notes, and the best drinks to pair with each one. Prices come from a recent Canadian listing and change by province and restaurant.
What Cookies Does Tim Hortons Have?
Tims sells two main kinds of cookies. Regular cookies, such as the Chocolate Chunk, Oreo Chunk and Caramel Chocolate, are the everyday option at the lowest price. Dream Cookies are a premium line that Tims describes as soft on the inside and chewy on the outside, with bigger mix ins like Reese’s Minis, M&M Minis or Nutella.
In February 2025 Tims also rolled out a new Chocolate Chunk Cookie across Canada. It is bigger than the old version and has more chocolate chunks, and Tims says all of its cookies are baked fresh daily in the restaurant.

How Much Are Cookies at Tim Hortons?
On a recent Canadian listing, a regular cookie such as the Chocolate Chunk, Oreo Chunk or Caramel Chocolate costs $2.09. Dream Cookies cost between $2.29 and $2.79, and the Chocolate Chunk Brookie costs $3.59. Older menu sites still show regular cookies at $1.69, so prices have gone up and the exact amount depends on your province and restaurant.
How Much Is 12 Cookies at Tim Hortons?

A box of 12 Assorted Cookies costs $15.59 on a recent Canadian listing, and a box of 6 costs $8.39. Twelve single cookies at $2.09 each would cost $25.08, so the 12 box saves you a good amount when you are buying for a group. You can mix flavours in the assorted boxes.

The Caramel Chocolate Cookie is the lightest at 300 calories, while the M&Ms Brookie is the heaviest at 460. Note that some listings show the Reese’s Minis Dream Cookie at 380 calories instead of 350. Dream Cookies carry noticeably more sugar than the regular cookies, with the Caramilk Dream Cookie reaching 34 grams.
Tim Hortons Dream Cookies

Dream Cookies are the premium side of the Tims cookie menu. Each one is built on a soft, chewy base with a bigger mix in or topping than the regular cookies. Tims has introduced several flavours over time:
Dream Cookie | What It Is |
|---|---|
Reese’s Minis with Pecans | Cookie with Reese’s Minis peanut butter cups and pecans |
M&M Minis | Cookie with mini M&M candies |
Nutella | Cookie made with Nutella hazelnut spread |
OREO DOUBLE STUF | Cookies and cream base topped with frosting and OREO crumble |
CARAMILK | Chocolate caramel cookie with milk chocolate chips and a gooey caramel filling |
The OREO DOUBLE STUF and CARAMILK flavours were added in a later Dream Cookie launch. Availability changes by restaurant, so not every Tims carries every Dream Cookie at the same time. If you want to try several, the Dream Cookies Box lets you pick 4 or 6.
What Are Tim Hortons Smile Cookies?
Smile Cookies are the Tims charity cookies. The classic Smile Cookie starts as a Chocolate Chunk Cookie, and local volunteers decorate each one by hand with a smiling face, and it is sold for a limited time each spring. According to Tims, 100% of the proceeds go to local charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
Since 2023, Tims has also run a Holiday Smile Cookie campaign. This holiday version is a sugar cookie made with white chocolate and festive red and green sprinkles, finished with the same hand drawn smile. During the campaign it costs $2.49 for one, $14.49 for a 6 pack and $28.89 for a 12 pack on a recent listing.
Do Tim Hortons Cookies Contain Nuts?
Some do. The Reese’s Minis Dream Cookie contains pecans and peanut butter cups, and the Nutella Dream Cookie uses a hazelnut spread. The other cookies are baked in the same kitchens, so cross contact with peanuts and tree nuts is possible. Tims cookies may also contain wheat, milk, egg and soy, so anyone with an allergy should check the allergen guide in the Tims app before ordering.
None of the Tims cookies are sold as gluten free, and they are baked in kitchens that handle wheat.
Are Tims Cookies Healthy?
Tims cookies are a treat rather than a healthy snack. Even the lightest regular cookie has 300 calories and around 22 to 25 grams of sugar, and Dream Cookies and Brookies go higher. None of them offer much protein or fibre.
If you want a cookie without overdoing it, pick a Caramel Chocolate or Oreo Chunk Cookie instead of a Brookie, pair it with black coffee or tea instead of a sweet drink, or split a Dream Cookie with a friend.
Best Drinks With Tims Cookies

Sweet cookies pair best with simple drinks that balance the sugar. Here are my favourite combos:
Cookie | Drink | Why It Works |
|---|---|---|
Chocolate Chunk Cookie | Original Blend coffee | The classic coffee and chocolate pairing |
Oreo Chunk Cookie | Cold milk or iced coffee | Tastes like cookies and cream |
Reese’s Minis Dream Cookie | Dark Roast coffee | Bold coffee cuts the peanut butter sweetness |
Dream Cookie with M&M Minis | Hot chocolate or milk | A sweet, kid friendly combo |
Chocolate Chunk Brookie | Americano | A plain espresso drink balances the rich brownie |
You can find every hot coffee on my Tim Hortons coffee menu guide, and for a cold option, a cookie with an Iced Capp makes a sweet afternoon treat. For more drinks, see the Tim Hortons drinks menu.
Cookies vs Donuts vs Timbits
Cookies are the simplest sweet snack at Tims and easy to eat on the go. Donuts give you more variety with glazed, filled and frosted options, and you can see them all on my Tim Hortons donuts menu guide. Timbits are better for sharing in small bites, and the limited Timbiebs flavours from the Justin Bieber collaboration were a Timbits release rather than a cookie.
Final Thoughts
Tim Hortons cookies give you a lot of choice for a small price. Regular cookies cost $2.09, Dream Cookies run from $2.29 to $2.79, and the 12 Assorted box at $15.59 is the best value for a group. Pick the Caramel Chocolate Cookie if you want the fewest calories, a Dream Cookie or Brookie for a richer treat, and buy a Smile Cookie when the campaign is on to support local charities. Jordan Ellis
Hi, I’m Jordan. I started this site because finding current Tim Hortons prices online was harder than it should be, and most menu pages I came across were years out of date. I check prices against the official Tim Hortons app and website, and I keep every page updated whenever prices, sizes, or items change. If something doesn’t match what you’re seeing at your local store, message me through the contact page, and I’ll look into it.
